BlockBeats news, on December 19, according to CoinDesk, the Indonesian encryption trading platform Tokocrypto has been officially acquired by Binance. Tokocrypto CEO Pang Xue Kai will step down and Yudhono Rawis will be named interim CEO. In addition, about 58% of Tokocrypto's employees have been laid off and will focus on the trading platform business in the future, and business activities outside the trading platform will be suspended. Binance entered the Indonesian market in 2020 and invested in Tokocrypto. Tokocrypto, a “compliant” Indonesian crypto trading platform, received its first license from the Indonesian regulator.
